Setting it up:

Step 1: Spread them out rather than clustering the four: the effect is a light in each room, not one lit group on a single table.
Step 2: Put them where they get dark - a mantel, a window sill out of the sun, a hallway table - since a green LED cannot compete with overhead lighting.
Step 3: Wipe the surface they sit on first; painted resin picks up dust and shows it against the light.

Care instructions:

Dust with a dry soft brush, and go gentle on the molded hands and hat brims, which are the parts that snap.
Keep them out of the weather even though they can be used outside - painted resin and standing water do not stay friendly.
