Seven feet of pumpkin on a stand - about four feet across at the widest - deep enough to read as a real jack-o-lantern from the street instead of a flat cutout. It stays quiet until someone walks into range or reaches for it, then the head shakes, the inside lights come up and it delivers one of four recorded lines, so the same corner of the yard never settles into one sound. The arms bend, which is the part people end up playing with: propped on a porch rail, slumped over a chair, or reaching around the mailbox.

What is in the box:

Setting it up:

Step 1: Bolt the base down first, then join the pole sections and sit the body on top - nothing needs a tool beyond fitting the pieces together, and it stands up in about five minutes.
Step 2: Put the batteries in the control box last, so you are not holding the whole thing up while you fiddle with the cover.
Step 3: Aim the face at the approach you want scored - the walk, the end of the driveway, the spot where people stop to look at it.

Care instructions:

Take the batteries out when the season ends - a cell left in an unused prop is how a battery box gets corroded.
Wipe it down and let it dry before storage, and keep the folded body off damp concrete.
Take it in during a storm; the joints and the light cover are the two places water gets persuaded in.

Please note: Due to the difference in monitor and light effect, the actual color and size of the item may be slightly different from the visual image. Furthermore, please be noted this is a decorative prop and not a toy, meant for ages 14 and up. It is sound activated, so being quiet between visitors is how it is supposed to work, not a defect - in a noisy or very windy spot you may want to switch it off.
