Two clasped hands cut from black steel, with the rosary falling from the wrist and the crucifix hanging below. It reads as a shape rather than a picture, so it holds a wall with no color or framing.

It is a large piece at about 12 by 10 inches and light on the wall, working over a mantel, in a stairwell, a prayer corner or a memorial shelf. The cut lines pick out the fingers and every bead.

Setting it up:

Step 1: Hold it on the wall and mark through the fixing holes with a pencil, keeping the cross clear of anything below it.
Step 2: Drive two screws or anchors so the plate sits off the wall by a few millimeters - the shadow is part of the effect.
Step 3: Check it is square from the top of the hands before you tighten, it is easy to hang this one visibly crooked.

Care instructions:

Dust with a dry brush, getting into the cut fingers and the beads before they build up.
Do not use a wet cloth on the bare cut edge; if you hang it outdoors, put it under cover.
Take it down before you move it rather than sliding it along the wall, the points catch on paint.

Please note: Due to the difference in monitor and light effect, the actual color and size of the item may be slightly different from the visual image. Furthermore, please be noted this is a flat 2D steel cut out rather than a sculpted relief, so the shape and its shadow do the work and it sits only a few millimeters off the wall. The rosary chain and the crucifix are cut from the same sheet, so treat those links as the fragile part when you handle it
