Step 2: Put the tallest at the back and the smallest forward, or the front one hides the rest.

Wipe with a dry cloth - painted wood does not want soaking.
Keep them indoors; rain will lift the paint and warp the board.
Store them flat with something between the faces so the paint does not mark.
