A black cut-iron graveyard scene: the tall house on one side with its windows cut out so a light behind them shows through, and a bare tree, a crescent moon, a small witch figure and a row of headstones joined along the base on the other. The bats are cut as separate pieces, so you spread them across the wall yourself - that spacing is what turns it from one dark shape into a scene. Being metal rather than plastic, it lies flat, throws a hard shadow from a low light, and still works as gothic decor in a hallway or above a desk once October is done.

Setting it up:

Step 1: Hang the main panel on a stud or a proper drywall hook first - iron is heavy for its size and it will pull away from a light adhesive strip.
Step 2: Set the loose bats around it last, a few out from the roofline and off to the tree side, so the eye travels across the whole wall.
Step 3: Pick a spot you can light from below and set it at eye level; the cut-out pattern is read by its shadow more than by the metal.

Care instructions:

Wipe with a dry cloth; the iron is rust resistant but not rust proof, so do not leave it wet.
Choose a covered exterior wall - the black finish is paint over iron, and a chip out in driven weather will rust at the chip.
The edges are cut metal - carry it by the flat faces and keep it out of reach of young children.
