Description

Description：

This is a skull that goes into the middle of your fire pit and does the theatrics for you. The center is hollow, so flame and light come out through the eye sockets and the mouth and the cracks molded across the surface, which reads as a burning skull from across the yard rather than as a decoration sitting in the coals. It is made from ceramic fiber rated to 1832 F (1000 C), so it can go straight onto a live fire and be used again next year, and it is small enough - eight and a half inches long - to move between the pit, the fireplace and the table.

Product details:

Product size: 8.5" x 6" x 6" (L x W x H)
Firesafe rating: Withstands temperatures up to 1832 F (1000 C)
Hollow core: Flame and light escape through the eyes and mouth
Net weight: 1.5 lbs
Colors: Black and Beige - pick at checkout
What is in the box:
- 1 x ceramic fire pit skull

Setting it up:

Step 1: Set it in the fire ring or on the fireplace grate once the flames are down to a steady burn, not into a roaring start-up fire.
Step 2: Give it room - the effect comes from the light leaving the sockets, so a clear line from where people are sitting matters more than placement.
Step 3: Let it cool fully before you move it or clear the pit.

Care instructions:

Brush off loose ash once cold, or vacuum the carbon off if it builds up - light blackening is part of how it looks after a burn.
Do not soak it or run it under water; it is ceramic fiber, not plastic.
Store it somewhere it will not get knocked over - it will chip if you drop it.

Please note: Due to the difference in monitor and light effect, the actual color and size of the item may be slightly different from the visual image. Furthermore, please be noted this is a fire pit accessory, not a toy, and it gets hot. The ceramic fiber is rated to 1832 F (1000 C), but it is still a brittle piece - set it down gently, let it cool before you move it, and keep children and pets a few feet back while it is in the fire. Blackening from combustion is normal and is part of the look.
