A Basenji in Halloween dress on an 18 x 18 in cushion - the size that fills a sofa bay on its own. The insert comes with it, so there is nothing second to order, and the cover is a woven canvas built to shed splashes rather than drink them, with colorfast dyes behind the print. Three panels sewn together keep the corners filled, which is the difference between a cushion that looks deliberate and one that looks sat on. A rare-breed print at this size is also the one that starts the conversation about the dog.

Setting it up:

Step 1: Fluff it and work the corners out with your fingers before you put it back - a compressed insert reads flat on the first day and fills in once it breathes.
Step 2: At 18 in it covers a standard chair seat or two sofa corners, so place it before you decide the rest of the couch needs nothing.
Step 3: Shake the water off and bring it in after heavy rain; water-shedding is not waterproof.

Care instructions:

Machine wash cold and air dry - the cover is the washable part, and heat is what shrinks a woven canvas.
Do not iron the printed face, and keep bleach away from the dyes.
Turn it over occasionally in sun, and store it flat and dry over winter rather than under a compressed pile.

Please note: Due to the difference in monitor and light effect, the actual color and size of the item may be slightly different from the visual image. Furthermore, please be noted this is a finished throw pillow, not a toy, and the insert is included - unlike a cover, this one arrives ready for the sofa. The fabric is woven to shed splashes and the dyes are colorfast, but it is still a cushion: bring it in for a soaking week, and do not let a child use it as a step. Each one is sewn individually, so the finished size can vary a little.
